Patient Name: Jeff E.
Age: 47
Location: NJ
Diagnosis: Herniated discs at L4/L5 and L5/S1. Stenosis at L4/L5 and L5/S1.
Procedure Date: September 15, 2009
Type of Procedure: DND
Pre-Surgery Life Style / Condition: None! Pain was constant 24/7. I had to sleep face down and slide into and out of bed face down. I had no relief at anytime. Pain started in the middle of my back traveling down right buttock, thigh, calf and into foot! Any movement caused extreme pain to shoot down leg into foot!
Post-Surgery Outcome: Back pain and leg pain down to foot was gone! I had some aching in middle of back and now have numbness and weakness in right calf and foot. Therapy is building back my strength and I now walk without a cane. Feeling is returning to foot and ankle and now starting to get some in calf.
